DaNishia Barton
Vice President of Engineering and Program Management
As NIKA’s Vice President of Engineering and Program Management, DaNishia Barton oversees all aspects of facility operations directly supporting the Defense Health Agency Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) valued at $58 billion. Through the partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center, DaNishia is responsible for ensuring the full facility life-cycle management and operational support to over two thousand Health Care Delivery Buildings and MTFs totaling 94 million square feet. She leads a team of 100+ members worldwide and provides support to a diverse portfolio of stakeholders across the Army, Navy, and Air Force, ensuring contract support and compliance, and enabling the delivery of healthcare to our nation’s warfighters and their families.
Having previously worked in Hospital Administration in the United States Air Force, DaNishia holds over 28 years of industry experience. DaNishia is best known for being result-driven and detailed oriented with a strong work ethic. She is also skilled at leading diverse teams, fostering relationships, and ensuring a positive working environment.
DaNishia earned her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Park University, earned her master’s degree in Business Administration from Webster University, and has received the Certified Resource and Materials Professional (CMRP) certification.
