NIKA is hiring for a Quality Control Inspector (QCI) to support the Base Operations Support contract at USCG Base Kodiak, AK!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for monitoring contract work to assure compliance with Government requirements.
Track construction deficiencies from identification through acceptable corrective action.
Report progress in the QC reports and submit to the Government.
Supervise all Special Inspectors required by the contract documents and the International Building Code (IBC).
Knowledge of and commitment to safety.
Experienced in providing written daily reports on construction activities.
Familiar with current building codes and inspection requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Expected to be on site during normal duty hours.

 

Required Skills

Minimum of two years of documented experience in quality control of construction and/or maintenance of building equipment.
Experience with FARS, DFARS, and other federal regulatory guidance, laws, and requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
U.S. Citizenship required
