Peterson promoted to lead the company’s growing Facilities Operations Management practice.
Rockville, MD, January 26, 2017/ — NIKA, a global provider of architecture, engineering, facilities and operations and maintenance solutions to government, recently announced the promotion of Lorenza “Pete” Peterson from Director of Program Management to Senior Vice President, Facilities Operations Management.
NIKA’s Facilities Operations Management division provides full life cycle management services for healthcare facilities and other complex buildings, and helps clients consistently deliver increasingly complex programs and projects faster, while keeping costs down and quality high. With large scale project management contracts for DoD and federal civilian agencies, NIKA delivers more than 150 staff in support of major government projects throughout the world.

Prior to joining NIKA, Peterson served as the Initial Outfitting and Transition (IO&T) Program Manager and Deputy Director of Project Execution for the U.S. Army Health Facility Planning Agency (HFPA), helping to deliver world class medical treatment facilities and research laboratories across the globe. Throughout his career, he has served in numerous operational leadership assignments from platoon leader in an armor regiment to Department of Army staff for the U.S. Army Office of the Surgeon General. Peterson has received numerous awards and decorations, including the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star, among others.
